Nathan is a lighting designer and technician with a BFA in Design and Technology for Theater from Ball State University. He currently works at Mid America Sound, prepping and running lighting for concerts, corporate events and touring artists, and previously maintained the lighting systems in seven venues aboard a Carnival Cruise Line ship.

Raised in Indianapolis, Nathan was introduced to theater at a young age by his mother, a scenic painter for several local theaters. In high school he realized acting was not his true calling, and his mother suggested a stagecraft class. He refused at first, convinced nothing could replace being on stage. Little did he know he would fall in love with lighting design.

Nathan often wonders where his path will lead in five or ten years. One thing is certain: he is excited to keep creating experiences through light.
